Andrea Kittelson, Co-founder
InterpraDex co-founder Andrea Kittelson holds an MFA in Theater Performance from San Francisco State University, an EdD in K-12 Leadership form the University of Southern California, and a Certificate of Completion in Analytics from Harvard Business School's online platform.
Dr. Kittelson taught for over 20 years across nearly all grades, K–12 — from bilingual kindergarten in East Oakland to Advanced Placement English Literature in Glendale and Beverly Hills. She then served more than ten years as an administrator: first at a charter school, where she rose from teacher to leadership, then with the LACOE juvenile court schools, followed by seven years with LAUSD, and most recently as Director of Data, Assessment, and Plan Alignment for Paso Robles Joint Unified School District.
During these 30+ years as a K-12+ educator, Dr. Kittelson has created many data innovations in order to identify for herself and others the true contributors to any one particular student's single test score or a class's or school's collection of scores. She has also designed new metrics where official metrics have faltered.
Dr. Kittelson presently shares her deep knowledge of data with teachers, schools, and districts in order to help educators effect powerful lasting change, with a special eye on equity for multilingual learners, students in special education, and students who are gifted and/or twice exceptional.
